How can I prevent the standard wait window message:
"The record is read-only" from appearing ?

I have a listbox control whose rowsource property is a table field. The table has been opened previously with NOUP.

Whenever the user clicks an item in the list or uses the arrow keys to move through the list, the unwanted window appears.
