This is not a bug. You have to enable long filenames on the Novell server to be able to handle any files you have that exceed the 8.3 naming format. As a practice, I never use long filenames for any file that may go on a drive that may not support long filenames (i.e., Novell).

If you want to enable this feature in Novell on the problem machine, let me know. I can provide the Novell syntax if the Administrator of that server needs it.
