Hiya Paige ---

Hmmmm....I would think that if the information is not updateable, it makes implementing views much easier. I have found that views are easy, becuase you're dealing with a subset of child records that exactly match the parent. No filters, keys, or anything like that....I can't think of anything specific to recommend about using views vs. queries or relationships but keep in mind that since a view is a table matching a query you can use it as a table with all attendent advantages without making special allowances for filtering non-matching records. This may be N/A for a grid, but it's an important consideration for listboxes, comboboxes, and other situations.

Every time I consider changing my queries to views I read that because in my case the user does not update the queries that there is no advantage to using views. Does one of your books/articles or another one you are aware of, address this subject?
