Actually, everything in the poem is true. Last Weds. was the last time I spent any significant time on line. Further, I really don't have any facility with limericks (I tend to be too wordy).

Yeah, you've got the right Bears alright. One thing that Dave Wannestadt said when he first came was a remark about being amazed at how little talent was on the team. Let's not forget that they'd had a down year after being in the playoffs almost every season under Ditka. After five years, they'd even won a Super Bowl. Dave's been there six, one trip to the playoffs. The thing that got me was last year, when Madden said that they had no players, and Dave was the responsible for that.

This year's been the last straw. They've led more than 10 games (if I recall correctly) at half time. They end up 4-12. I don't think that Dave can make halftime adjustments in order to make them winners. Yeah they played a lot of teams close, and they've consistently done that under him. They just don't win. Sorry, Mark, Dallas can have him back.

OK, Chicago Bears fans. Altogether now, "Dave must go! Dave must go!"
