>I have a multiuser exe done in Foxpro 2.0 for dos that one particular user occassionally gets the insufficient memory error. Am I right in assuming that it is her pc that is the problem? Sometimes she has other programs open but not always when the error occurs. Any advice most welcome.

What operating system is the user running under? If it's Win9x or WinNT, it's likely to be how the DOS Session for the FPDOS application is configured. Additional details are really needed to track down the exact cause. For starters:

(1) What's the basic hardware? In addition to CPU/memory, the amount of free disk space on the drive where the Windows swap file exists is important.

(2) What's the operating environment? In addition to OS, the swap file/virtual memory configuration is important.

(3) What settings, if any, are set by the CONFIG file for the application?

(4) How is the VDM (DOS session) configured, especially wrt memory allocation?

(5) Is the user running under the Standard or Extended version of FPDOS?
