I believe your original problem is because the your development printer is being stored in the FRX. So, you need to either use the PROMPT clause of the REPORT FORM command, or clear some of the fields in the report table.

PLEASE BACKUP FILE FIRST! To do the later, in summary, you USE the FRX and clear the memos TAG1, TAG2. I have heard that you should, at least, leave one innocent command (such as COPIES=1) in the EXPR field. WARNING: if page orientation or other information is critical to your application, then you'll want to leave that information as well. You do this for every report and label before you distribute the application to the user.

The repeated message is a discussion of a way to automate this process. I'm sure there are several methods.

Luckily I've always HAD to use PROMPT and I matched my client's printers. But, I think I shall have to start implementing this.

BTW, I believe that this is not the same problem in 6.0
