Hiya George, Jen....
To put this all in perspective, I'm a Congregationalist (the descendent church of the Puritans)...so, if I were to follow my forefathers traditions, I'd have to flee to a new continent from you, George, meanwhile running into Jen who I'd be obliged to burn at the stake :-D

>>>I think you'd probably know more this than I, so I'll defer.

>>>I knew we had something in common, however. You may be an ex- but I'm a current Anglican. Cradle Episcoplian (somewhat of a rarity these days around here).

>>I'd probably still be an Anglican if I weren't also a feminist.. I have a very hard time with a religion that reserves all the best parts for a single gender.

>Best parts??? Let's the Episcopal Church ordains women, and if I recall correctly, there's a female Bishop somewhere in the northeast (I think). Now the Church of England, that's another story.
