To Ed, George, John, Ernst,

The problem seems to be inside Visual MaxFrame. I found it is specifically related to their grids, and to their Set ControlSource methods. I don't know whether the problem is MINE or THEIRS, but I found a cheesy work around that allowed me to do my dog-&-pony show today with grace, aplomb and no GPFs or Dr.Watsons. Who knows, I may just leave the cheesy work around in place.

Thanks again for all the good advice.

Barbara

>This may be totally off the wall but I have found that I could clear up some of my C0000005 errors (in 6, though) by getting rid of any Form or _SCREEN references after CLEAR EVENTS (let VFP clean itself up in an EXE). Don't know why it worked but it does. Also, I have found that ON SHUTDOWN CLEAR EVENTS can cause this problem as well.
