I just purchased OO Modeling and Design for Database Applications.
The subject is rather dry. The book is designed for a full year course in upper class IS/IT. I have just started reading it and it's a slow read. It's not bad but times have been very full of family and non work lately.

>What are some good data modeling books. I'm thinking specifically of going to a possible customer site and being able to break out a model based on discussions, forms and process. Also if the customer sends out documentation notes, method(s) to interpret and again be able to develop the data model.
