I am sure you can do this with MAPI, but having never used MAPI, I am not the one to tell you how. If you need the outgoing message to reside in the user's Sent Items box, then you will want to stick with MAPI but if you don't, and you are using Windows NT, I recommend Rick Strahl's wwIPStuff class. It has a function for sending mail directly using Wininet.dll Sendmail functions. It is very straightforward, invisible to the user, and completely independent of the user's mail software. wwIPStuff is available here in the files section, or on the
