Dumb Q: did you save the report after CR made the changes? Also, if you are using ODBC, I can't see why it would complain sometimes and not others...
If you select "Change Database Driver", does it confirm that it is using ODBC? Also, are you using VFP ODBC, or FoxPro ODBC: you didn't mention when I asked before...

I've never noticed that it has to go a particular place, but I haven't worked with it as much that way....
