Jeremy,
Jim was actually correct with his answer. You are mixing your solution
and his solution, which is why it is not working. Use Jim's solution
on its own and it will work.
In other words, get rid of deactivates, nodefaults, etc..., and do what
he suggests and it works. I use exactly the same method for cases
similar to yours.
