No, first of all (except for the dataenvironment) the Load event is executed. At that time the empty form is created but not yet fully initialized. Then all controls are created and their Init fires. Finally the Init of the form fires. IOW, the Init of any container fires after the Init of the contained controls.

Could you provide us with some more information about what you are doing in the Load that requires a parameter? Depending on that there are several alternatives available.
