Thanks for the advice.

I assume the LOCATE command also would be preferable to the SQL SELECT command relative to performance and my primary objective of taking inputs from a form to search for matching records.

It will be much easier to use the LOCATE command. I was hoping I could use it, but was concerned that it was a lot slower than SEEK. So that's good news. It makes my life much easier.
