Hi all,

A while back we wrote in-house a small UDF to correctly handle
the insertion of the current currency symbol because, despite what
the documentation said, we just could not get the following to work

SET CURRENCY TO "£"
?TRANSFORM(2222, "$,$$$,$$$")

in the Command Window. We would always get the dollar sign rather
than the British Pound sign. It used to work no problem in
FoxPro 2.6 DOS/Windows but not in VFP5.0a - we did not have the
time to establish for certain whether it was a bug or not, so we
wrote a small UDF for the purpose.

I was just about to use our UDF once again in a report when
I thought I would check on UT : is this a known bug in VFP 5 ?

If it is, out of interest, has it been corrected in VFP6 ?

Thanks in advance.

Michel.
