Well, that's embarrasing. My subclassed VFE combo was firing the when event twice, so when I tested (using a wait.. window ) wich value it was taking, I really saw the last wait() of my previous when() when I thought that it was the actual when(), and it happened in the grand-grand parent of the actual combo class I was using.
