I think such a book should have a different approach (if I only have the time *sigh*). The most difficult parts for VFP developers seems to me a) finding the right function b) understanding how the function fits into Windows and c) translating the mostly C or VB samples to VFP code. The main job of such a book should help people in this regard, ie explain data types and especially how those that used in Windows map to those used in VFP, how to find Windows API functions and how the Windows API works (messages, window handles, etc.). A reference part could explain the maybe 100 most common functions, or so.
