Don't worry about 'having the guts' to ask your boss to spend $60. Take your hourly rate and estimate how long you've spent on this problem alone. Multiply that by the average number of problems that you turn to the UT for in a year. That should make $60 seem like a cake walk! Remember, this time you posted a problem which was already discussed. If you'd had the Premier membership, you would not have had to wait for a reply. You could have searched on the keywords you needed and gotten the answer practically instantly.

Being one of the 'bosses,' I can tell you that this was an easy $60 to spend; once my team made clear the return on investment.
