Brenda,
There is no Visual FoxPro 2.6. There is FoxPro DOS 2.6, FoxPro Windows 2.6, Visual FoxPro 3.0, 5.0 and 6.0. So when you say vfp2.6 I'm not sure what version you are really talking about. If you open an unconverted .frx as a table what type of Platform records to you see?
On my system according to the RegEdit entry for \HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Visual.FoxPro.Report if you double click a .frx in explorer vfp launches with an argument of -SHELL
>The app was originally a vfp 2.6. When I double click in explorer on the frx, vfp asks if i want to convert. If I say yes, it converts correctly. It uses the convert that ships with vfp 5.0 (i put an assert .f. and it stops in the debugger). The same converter is called when I modi report in code, however the converter does not like the parameters that VFP has passed. I am currently changing a copy of converter to do a onetime conversion.
