I just converted a simple FPW2.6 app to VFP6.0. Since the budget was minimal, I used the converter and got the whole thing going nicely in a few hours. Except...
I have a print dialogue app. Which I also converted. A single screen with the usual 'Print Preview Setup' etc options. It's modal of course, but shorlty after firing up the alias reverts to the alias of some bound objects on the underlying screen rather than staying with the selected alias going to the form. (No grid, of course). It's pretty weird. There's no dataenvironments in either form. And it works *perfectly* if the debugger is on (ain't it the way :-).
I've solved the problem I think by reselecting 'm.curalias', a variable set up by the generator, in the activate event.
I've put wait windows all through the various events but the switch in alias seems completely independent of the events of the modal form.

Any clues??
