vfp 3.0 winders 98

Hello All,

I have a formset which displays a record that has 3
forms. this formset displays a rec. from a browse
screen that stays active while the record is being
displayed in the formset.

Yesterday I discovered that the reason my buttons
on form1 of the formset wouldn't refresh was because
the formset was set to modal. Changing this to modeless
allowed the button to refresh, but here's the problem.

There is code continuing to run from the browse screen
while the formset is doing its thing. How can I stop
this code from the browse screen from running while
the formset is displaying the record?
