Hi John,

If the control source of your comboBox is of type field, then u don't need seeking the DisplayValue, as the record pointer is automatically moved. Also if u have the relation set in the DE, u don't need to add the properties refering to the Master and Child tables on the grid, perhaps in the childOrder u are changing by mistake the order needed in the child table for keeping the relation?
Finally, are u refreshing the grid? :)
