I suppose you could but there'd be some risk that the dir structure is different and you'd still have to do a COMPILE DATABASE....also, you are going to *have* to script out ALTER TABLES for structural changes or else the customer will lose legacy data (you can't just replace the table)...so my thoughts are that if you have to script one element, why not script 'em all?

If I send the updated .dbc with the new table does that work the same as your suggestion of Open Database, Add Table? Obviously, there is more overhead shipping the .dbc, but I was jsut wondering.
