A client recently bought 2 new workstations (350 mhz) with Win98. When initiating my app they had a error. I ran the patch from
www.abri.com and it fixed the problem.
One user tried running a report that was written in R&R vers. 2.0 about 5 years ago and got "RUN command failed". I tried it with a slower workstation in my office, running Win98, and got the same failure. It had been working fine in Win95.
I'm rewriting the app in VFP 6.0 and don't have the time to do a rewrite to foxfire of the few old reports in R&R and 2.6. I'm also not interested in upgrading to a newer version of R&R. It is being phased out of all my apps.
The only thing I can think to do is to create a separate Windows Icon for each report to run outside of FPW2.6.
Does anyone have a better/faster idea?
I appreciate your feedback.
