Hi Dan,

From the VFP Help file:

"If you don't assign an access key to a menu title or menu item, Visual FoxPro automatically assigns the first letter as the access key. "

As far as I know, there is no way around this behavior.

Does your application turn off the status bar? If not, this may be a more appropriate place to display the username. An ActiveX status bar control is an option too.

>Our customer wants to see the user name at all time. I thought that maybe I could place this on the menu since we have room for it. We do not have a status bar. But I don't want any character to be underlined. Is there any way to turn that off?
