Hi,

Coming in this thread a bit late. I nearly got mad a few months ago with this
and tried :

1) manage the VFP status bar .. found no acceptable trick,
2) use the MS OCX, wonderful as long as you user top-level forms
(i could not),
3) attach a fixed, not resizable toobar at the bottom of the _screen.

This last solution is the one use for the moment.. no ocx, no fox trick,
just plain manageable toobar with a caption in it.
