>What's the main difference between the 'Function Conversion' and the 'Visual Conversion' when you open a 2.6 file. Should you always choose one over the other?

Functional conversion claims that you will have a functioning VFP program you are done... basically, your forms remain as .SPR programs and a small wrapper is written to run them.

A visual conversion brings you closer to VFP, but it won't run when you are done. All of your forms will be converted for you, however, all of the code from the snippets will be put into one big .PRG file. From there, it is up to you to plug the code back into the methods it should be used in, as needed. Also, the visual conversion will create formsets and keep the forms in read compatibility mode...

Those are the biggies.
