I guess maybe you turn the property "AllowAddNew" of Grid, and the RecordSource is an Indexed table.

Foxpro AUTO append a new record if "AllowAddNew" turned to .T. and press DOWN arrow on the bottom row of a grid.
Because the new record is blank, Grid reposition to the top.
