I figured it out.
For your info people:

One thing that worked was.
1) Delete all *.tmp files and file*.chk files from the system (Use Find Files) these
are unneccessary and can cause problems. Good to run a scandisk and defrag as well.
2) Run a small setup.exe created from foxpro that inculeds the Imagegear.ocx,
and VFP runtimes. To ensure all system .dlls are correct.
3) Seems to happen with HP printers. See the website www.hp.com.
From here I found I should try to .
Go to Printers\Properties (Eganskaber)/dtails (detajler)/portindstillinger(Port Settings)
And click off both - Spool MSDOS Print jobs (Sæt MSDOS udskriftjob i kø)
and - Control Port before printing (Kontroller portilstander) før udskrivning)

Also check if Spool data format is EMF if so try RAW.


your also right about the drivers but.
Thy had other difficulties with the new drivers.
