Same issue here too. Had to code a textbox to trap exactly 8 keystrokes by a user for any date field. Any changes caused any value currently in the textbox to blank out forcing user to hit 8 keystrokes to enter a new or change an existing date. I put a counter in the .Keypress event and it seems to be working.
