It may be more accurate to say just in time activation. As soon as the client calls SetComplete() or closes the object - an instance still remains in memory - thanks to MTS. The next time Createobject is invoked - it will be much faster - since the object does not have to be re-loaded into memory. Also, don't forget about the security features - they are pretty useful..
