Title:
Tableupdate is failing
Tableupdate returns .f., but the data is actually being written back correctly....
I have a view called "e_addresses" that lists all the address linked to a particular executive. I bring up a moverlist type form (actually a form class) that allows the user to select and de-select addresses. This class opens a second copy of the view (called "cursels") so the user is adding and subtracting from it instead of directly into e_addresses. If they click "ok" it puts their changes into e_addresses. "Cancel" reverts then closes cursels.
E_addresses reports the getnextmodified correctly. It's "buffering" setting never changes. It just returns false, displays my "oops" message, then reverts. But it doesn't really fail. The update takes.
Is there a problem with having two copies of the same view open at the same time with different aliases?
