The other tools that were mentioned are all great (did they also mention Foxfire!?

But before you decide on a third party solution and thus write of the VFP eport designer as inadequate, I urge you to do a little more research into what is possible with the VFP report designer. I have used both the Access and VFP designers and will quickly say that the Access designer offers a simpler interface and allows more options up front, but I think in the long run the VFP designer is more powerful. You have to pull some pretty sneaky stuff sometimes to get what you want, but most needs aer coverable. There are lots of FAQs, articles and tools to help you get what you want out of the native designer. Look in the files section and knowledge base here, and look in the MSKB for more help, and beyond all, if you question whether something can be done, ask the question here... you might be surprised.
