I have written a huge automated ftp app for a product we are selling. It handles about 60 megs of downloads and 500,000 record imports. We tried numerous products, Mabry, Crystal, etc, before settling on Netlib for a couple of reasons.
1. It was written for foxpro. The others were not and are much harder to interface.
2. There is sample code that works for the FTP transfers right out of the box.
3. Neil Weicher and Communications Horizons has a good reputation in the industry.
After purchasing the product, we had a couple of minor glitches. The netlib group were responsive, fixed our problems, even issued an update to the software for us. In my opinion, you can't go wrong using the Netlib toolkit.
>If anyone has used NetLib 5.0 TCP/IP, i would value greatly your results of using this product for FTP. Of course, if anyone has an alternative FTP tool that can be integrated with VFP 6.0, please respond. Thanx.
