Just to clarify. I think arrays are great places to store SQL results for comboboxes. They just should be part of the cbo itself, not external public arrays.

I would back up David on defining it in the Init() of the ComboBox but you're probably better off using a View for this, especially if you might have to reference the RowSource elsewhere in the form.
