The Writer's Agreement you have to sign when you publish an article in Advisor states that the article and all published code is copyrighted by Advisor. They give you the right to use it yourself, but you can't publish it afterwards legally, neither in public domain, nor in a comercial framework, or so. That's why it took me so long to get my Y2K code released into public domain.

There are exceptions, of course, for example when an article deals with code that has been placed into public domain before. Of course this might limit Advisor'S interest in this article...
