Thanks Ken. Problem solved. I appreciate your help. You got me thinking. I am grabbing someone else's files. I don't know why they are using numeric dates. I didn't think they were. I will check into that.

I updated the .PRG to convert the date and now the SELECT works fine. Thanks again. It took a lot of trial and error using ? in command window, but eventually I found a way to do what I needed.
