Any good reason for that? I don't expect that the result of BinToC() should change in next versions, nor that it would vanish - since it's probably an internal function. I just started using it, and it behaves just nice (yes, I know I have to have Collating Sequence "machine" on binary tags), and combines the speed of integer index with ability to add some string to the end of it.

OK, I'm biased - I like this thingy. Still, what's the reason against it?
