Yep...the infamaous picklistvalid in a grid problem. I've done this before - it's a pain in the a--.

First thing to remember: If THIS.PARENT is a grid column, that grid must be a
grid inheriting from XXFWGRD.VCX/grdDataEntry.

There is a lot of details in the zreadme() method of the txtpicklistvalid control that deal with using this sucker in a grid. If you haven't read it yet, you NEED to. Let me know when you've gotten that far and I can probably duplicate what your trying to do.
