I too, have had problems with this infamous error when
working with a subclassed grid.
It seems to be causing so much grief... has anyone heard
anything form (oops... I meant "from"... happen often?)
MS about an update ?

>Thanks John. I've also found that if I replace the suspicious grid on the form with a standard (non-subclassed) grid, then things work better also. I'm going to try to determine what might be going on with the sub-classed grid.

>>When I get that error at READ EVENTS I could usually get rid of it by removing the line ON SHUTDOWN CLEAR EVENTS. Now, another way it might happen, for me, was when I tried to use any command with the WINDOWS keyword after the READ EVENTS, such as RELEASE WINDOWS ALL.
