It should work for other ActiveX controls, though. Can't you call SYS(1500) within your toolbar to execute the original VFP edit functions?

Yes I can, but unless the VFP system menu, (or another menu with VFP edit bar) is active, the edit functions do not work from the ActiveBar. They do work using shortcut keys though, which kinda defeats the purpose of having a popup with selections for the user, especially selections that when clicked do nothing at all. Can you think of any possible workarounds for this that aren't too conveluted? I'm trying to keep this simple, but I as I'm finding out, this toolbar may have been "too good to be true" atleast when used with VFP.
