I have just purchased SDT 5.1 and have read the SDT manual and read the methods of the classes pertaining to this in VMP. I am now even more confused as to which is the best way to implement this. I am just wondering if somebody that has implemented SDT with VMP can throw a few pointers my way.

My main goal with purchasing SDT was to add Table Maintenance ability to my appications.
