You should be able to purchase sideways fonts - I had to do so in my previous job some years ago. There are companies around who specialize in producing fonts. When I bought fonts about four years ago they were approx £125 each (probably around $100 now). You could buy upside-down, sideways, and many other wierd and wonderful? fonts.
