There is a standard Class C address you are supposed to use that doesn't exist on the Internet, I forget what it is, maybe someone here knows.

That would be 192.168.0.xxx where the xxx ranges from 0 to 255 and must be different for each machine on the network segment. You will also need to assign the subnetwork mask to 255.255.255.0
