No. There is only one copy of the table and one copy of the database container. Do you think it might have something to do with not explicitly opening the database before using the table? I'm going to try to mod my code to do that, regen an EXE and see if it makes a difference.
Eg.,
OPEN DATABASE MyDataBase EXCLU
USE MyTable EXCLU
INDEX ON student_cd TAG student_cd ADDITIVE
.
.
.
