If you look at the Exam Preparation guide at www.microsoft.com/mcp/exam/stat/sp70-100.htm, they list course 491 and course 1298 as resources. You'll notice that both courses only cover some of the skills listed. I got the mastering series cd for course 1298 from www.provantage.com (although it took over 2 weeks to arrive!) plus I found a new M$ Press book that does a great job of covering the buzz words and basic concepts in the first section. This book is Designing Component-based Applications by Mary Kirtland, the M$ COM team program manager. ISBN 0-7356-0523-8.
