Is there a way to create a class property which will only allow the developer using it to select only from predefined values, as well as a default value?

For example: In the VFP form, the BufferMode property provides a pull down of options:

0 - None (Default)
1 - Pessimistic
2 - Optimistic

Can this be done in VFP or is this a lower level functionality?
