The Version is VFP 5.0a build 402 - I guess it is time to upgrade to 6.0! I rebuilt the form from scratch and I have not had the problem. I will be taking a class in VFP 6.0 - Is there a dramatic difference in the ease of developing an application in comparison to 5.0a? - Thank you for all your help, Jen
