I'm going to 2nd Christof. I have a method in my base form class called SetEnvironment which when a form which is loading detects that it has a private datasession, it calls this method and the check and the call are located in the .BeforeOpenTables event. The only pain of this is that you need to put it in all the forms unless you have a subclassed DE written in code.
