>Hold on a second- the error message she is getting is because the cursors have been removed from the DE. I can produce this message easily by ading tables to the DE, dragging fields to the form, and removing the tables and running the form. What it sounds to me like is that VFP is removing the cursors from the DE for her, without her permission. This sounds to me like a corruption of the scx file. I think Dragan is closest to the right track, but his solution doesn't explain the cause, nor prevent it from happening again. I have experienced a possessed, suicidal form like this, and it is
not developer error (how could I make an error? :-)) and was not able to solve it until recreating the form.
We confess our sins to the compiler, regularly, and get forgiven... or bombed with error codes.
I don't have a solution - I'm actually walking around that place where I got bitten once. Before anybody's solution, I'd rather get to know the (probable, at least) cause... and then we'd maybe have a solution. Comparing my experience with the others', I was just plain lucky that I didn't have to build the form from scratch - and that's the most important form in the app (Murphy is watching me, I know).
